Joe Gearing is the Drainage Engineer for the Allen County Engineer’s Office. Joe has spent the majority of his career working in the field of stormwater management. With experience in both the private and public sector, his career has spanned over various aspects of consulting, regulation and policy development, stormwater management planning and design, sediment and erosion control, asset management, GIS mapping, permit compliance, commercial and residential site development plan review and approval, floodplain management, and ORC Ditch Petition Drainage Improvements. Joe currently services as Chairman for the Ottawa River Coalition and is a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC).
